At our March 12th Professional Development Program, we were joined by Gina Cavallo, who serves as the Board Vice President and Survivor Consultant for the NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking. The presentation took place at Morris County VoTech and offered all in attendance many guiding points and resources to support our work in our school communities.

Our January 21st Professional Development Program was held at Morris County VoTech and featured a presentation on Child Protective Services & Family Resources offered by Elizabeth Nuss, DCP&P Morris/Sussex Resource Family Recruiter.  

Our February 19th Professional Development Program was held at Morris County VoTech. Executive Director Leonore Johnston and Director of District Outreach Alexa Thomas from Cornerstone Day School lead an insightful discussion on the topic of "Managing School Avoidance". The session offered valuable perspectives on supporting students facing these challenges, and we appreciate the expertise shared by the Cornerstone Day School team.

Our November 19th Professional Development Program was held at Morris County VoTech and featured a presentation on eating disorders offered by Ms. Rachel Light, LCSW & Clinical Coordinator at Overlook Medical Center/Atlantic Health.  

On June 3rd, MCSNA members gathered at Suppa's Restaurant in Denville to honor our retirees~ Kate Zenna; Lorraine LaTempa; Lorna Crooker; Sue Hoffman; and Eleanor Klingerand. Attendees also participated in professional development about "Stress Management ~ How to Turn off in the Summer" with Candace Wu, M.A. Atlantic Health.
