    • Location: Milton Ave School, PK-2nd Grade
    • Summary:  We are seeking a full-time, partial year Leave Replacement School Nurse to provide comprehensive health services to students at Milton Avenue School. This position involves promoting student health, managing chronic health conditions, and responding to medical emergencies. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and the community to ensure a safe and healthy school environment.

    • Responsibilites:
      • Assess and evaluate the health needs of students and provide appropriate nursing care.
      • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
      • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic health conditions.
      • Monitor and manage student health records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
      • Provide health education and resources to students, staff, and parents regarding health issues and wellness.
      • Conduct required health screenings and follow up on referrals as necessary.
      • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
      • Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a healthy school environment.
      • Participate in school health programs and initiatives.
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student health services and incidents.
    • Requirements:
      • Valid NJ School Nurse certification.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
      • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
      • CPR and First Aid certification.
      • Previous experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a school setting.
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Commitment to promoting student health and wellness.

    • Flexible/shared scheduling
    • Rate: $55.00/hour
    • Requirements: RN/BSN
    • Camp HTSACC is looking for compassionate and dedicated nurses to work from approximately 9:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday in a fun and supportive enrivornment. This position can be shared amongst multiple nurses, thus providing flexible/shared schedules.
    • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
      • providing medical care and support to campers and staff
      • administering first aid and managing injuries and illnesses
      • dispensing daily medications as prescribed and maintaining accurate health records
      • communicating with parents and guardians about medical concerns, as needed
      • managing health records, including medication logs, accident/incident reports, treatment logs, and other necessary documentation
      • providing emergency care and making decisions regarding transport to medical facilities when necessary
      • educate staff on camper health concerns/needs
